Does the monthly time rollover?

Monthly time allowances do not roll over from one month to the next. However, any extra time needed is billed at our low, discounted hourly rate only available for plan subscribers.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

We hope our hard work performing preventative care and updates helps keep your WordPress site from being hacked but understand that no website is hack proof.  Should your website need to be treated by our ER, we will get right on it. Our backups can restore your site to its pre-hack condition, and we will communicate with your hosting company to help things along on their end.

What tasks are included in the dedicated support time?

Whatever can fit into your time allowance and are part of standard WP functionality. Content updates and design changes are most commonly requested. Requests for new features to your website that involve new plugins, lots of design or coding time, or adding other functionality will likely result in a formal quote as those commonly go over the monthly dedicated time.

How do I send you a maintenance request?

The best way to send a care plan request or site edit to us is by logging in and accessing our ticketing system. All changes are tracked and responded to quickly. Correspondence about the changes are located here and any quotes for out of scope work will be approved here as well.

What if I need more hours?

If you have a task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, don’t sweat it – many times tasks that may seem like a lot of work may only be a few extra hours of time. When we think that’s the case, we’ll let you know an estimated time/cost and get your approval to move forward. We will bill you at our reduced hourly rate that all plan subscribers receive. If your request involves a large scope of work, we’ll provide a formal quote for your approval and signature.

Someone else built my site. Can I still sign up for a Monthly Care Plan?

For sites that we did not build, we first like to do a brief WordPress Website Evaluation to become familiar with the website, how it was built and any potential problems we see. The evaluation will either provide a “good to go” or a “need to fix these first” list, so items that might cause problems are resolved before we onboard the site for monthly maintenance. This might be outdated plugins, security threats or other things. We will provide an estimate for us to fix these things before we onboard the site.

The Website Evaluation is included in our $79 onboarding fee. Should you choose not to sign up for a care plan after seeing the Website Evaluation, the onboarding fee is not refundable but will serve as a helpful guide should you try to resolve the fixes on your own.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

We don’t want you to be locked into a subscription you don’t want. That’s why we don’t require clients to pay on an annual basis. Monthly payments provide our clients with the freedom to come and go as they wish.
